PR & Specialty Boxes
Rigid boxes built to the shape of your product.
Hexagons, hearts, tiered boxes, double-door kits, drawer chests and advent calendars are all built to order. Our structural engineers draw the dieline from your product's dimensions and CNC-cut a plain prototype, so you hold the shape before anything is printed.

What we can build
There's no standard specialty box.
The builds below are examples, not a catalogue. Tell us the shape you want and we'll engineer it; a sketch or the product itself is enough to start. Specialty work has no minimum order quantity, because each project is quoted on its own design and specification. Timing moves with the build too, so a shaped lid and a multi-drawer chest don't run to the same schedule. For anything in this category the quickest way to a firm answer is to speak with our packaging team.

Any outline your product needs, such as the arch shown here, cut from greyboard and wrapped like any rigid box.

Two or three trays stepped inside one shell, so the whole set is seen when the box opens.

Two doors open from the centre onto a fixed interior. The doors carry pockets or printed panels of their own.

Opens on a spine like a cover, with a magnetic closure as an option. A fitted insert holds one slot per product, with a printed panel opposite.

Several drawers in one shell. The lid lifts to a mirror or a top tray.

A tray divided into numbered cells, one for each day, behind a lift-off lid or a set of doors.

A ring-shaped box with drawers set into its side wall on two levels, all the way round.

The lid stands open and holds an envelope. A stepped insert below stands six products upright.

A carrier with its own handle panel and two bottle cavities, closed by a lift-off lid.

Angled side panels fold open onto an insert cut for a round plate, with a slot along each side.

A scalloped shell-shaped lid hinges up from a square base with a fitted insert.

Built like a laptop. The lid opens as the screen over a keyboard base with a fitted cavity.

The lid stands up behind a base of three slotted sections, with a flap folding out on each side.

Three slotted panels open out flat in a row, with the lid standing up behind the middle one.

A house-shaped cover opens onto a grid of small drawers, one for each day.

A box raised on two side legs, with a hinged lid over a fitted insert.

Common questions
Before you ask.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. Specialty boxes are quoted by project, so the right quantity depends on the design and the finishes you choose. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll price it.
How long does a specialty box take?
It depends on the build. A shaped lid on a standard base moves quickly; a multi-drawer chest with fitted inserts needs more engineering and more sampling. You get a schedule with the quote, once we've seen the design.
Can you design the structure for me?
Yes. Structural engineering is in-house. Send your product's dimensions, or the product itself, and we draw the dieline and CNC-cut a plain prototype so you can hold the shape before anything is printed.
What should my artwork look like?
Adobe Illustrator (.ai) with text outlined, colours in CMYK or Pantone (no RGB). Foil lines minimum 0.5 mm, spot UV minimum 0.75 mm. We preflight every file and send a digital proof before sampling.
How is pricing quoted?
One transparent quote covering materials, printing, finishing and shipping on your chosen terms — typically with 3–6 quantity breaks so you can see how unit cost moves with volume.
Ready to spec your specialty box?
Send your inquiry — dimensions, quantity, and where it's going. We reply within one business day.
